The Hollywood Reporter Announces Nine Hires, Five Promotions

Martin Garcia has the mount on Rosengold, who is a leading candidate for the $100,000 Oceanside Stakes over a mile on turf at Del Mar on July 17. Unraced since finishing second in the Eddie Logan Stakes at Santa Anita in December, Gabriel Charles worked six furlongs on turf in 1:13.20 on Sunday. The leading race of the upcoming week at Hollywood Park is the $150,000 Hollywood Oaks for 3-year-old fillies over 1 1/16 miles on the main track. Fiftyshadesofhay, the winner of the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico on May 17, and Iotapa, who won the Railbird Stakes here May 19, are leading contenders.
